...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM
EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, east central and
  eastern New York, and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds along with the weight of snow
  and ice on trees will lead to an increased risk of downed trees
  and power lines, resulting in power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Total snow and sleet accumulations
  between 2 and 5 inches and ice accumulations of one tenth to two
  tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...A portion of east central New York.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on
  slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will continue before transitioning to a
  wintry mix this morning. Gusty winds along with the weight of snow
  and ice on trees could result in some downed tree branches leading
  to some power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
