.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time that would meet NWS
warning criteria.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in
  vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...Southwest Suffolk County.

* WHEN...During times of high tide through 7 PM EDT this evening.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the most vulnerable
  locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low
  lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses
  with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding.
  Locally moderate flooding may occur along the westernmost shores
  of the Great South Bay during this afternoons high tide.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Breaking waves will result in areas of
  dune toe erosion with localized overwashes possible during the
  times of high tide along the oceanfront, LI Sound and
  Gardiners Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
