* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...In Connecticut, Northern New London, Southern New Haven
  and Northern Middlesex Counties. In New York, Western Suffolk
  County.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Connecticut and
southeast New York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

   Wind Advisory.

Showers and a few thunderstorms ahead of an approaching cold front
tonight could be heavy, with localized urban and poor drainage
flooding possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time that would meet NWS
warning criteria.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
