Another storm system is expected to bring another round of
widespread precipitation, including at least some snow or a wintry
mix to the region Saturday into Sunday.

Behind the storm system, much colder air will return to the region
for early next week. A Cold Weather Advisory could be needed for some
areas.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING
TO 1 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations up to 2 inches, with locally up to four inches
  across the Adirondacks and in southern Vermont.  Ice accumulations
  of a coating up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as
  35 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut,
  western Massachusetts, southern Vermont and the southern and
  western Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga Region, Mohawk and
  Schoharie Valleys and the eastern Catskills of eastern New York.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
