Total snow and sleet accumulations between 6 and 14 inches, with 12 to 16 inches possible in the St. Lawrence Valley of New York. Ice accumulations ranging from a trace to around one-quarter of an inch, highest across southern Vermont. * WHERE...Portions of northern New York and central, northeast, northwest, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult due to the combination of heavy snow, sleet, and ice. Power outages are expected along the western slopes of the Green Mountains where strong winds are also likely today. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A period of moderate to heavy snow this morning with gradual transition to sleet and areas of freezing rain across central, southern and eastern Vermont and parts of the Adirondack Mountains, while mostly snow is expected near the International Border.
