...Lake Effect Snow Will Impact the Primary Snowbelt...

.Low pressure over Lake Ontario will move north into Quebec this
morning. Colder air will continue to move into the area today
through Saturday causing lake effect snow to affect the primary
snowbelt areas of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow occurring. Additional snow
  accumulations of 3 to 11 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45
  mph.

* WHERE...Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula Inland and Ashtabula
  Lakeshore counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty
  winds could bring down tree branches. Temperatures will remain
  in the middle to upper 20s for highs today, Friday, and
  Saturday. Lows will be in the teens. The combination of the
  colder air and gusty winds will cause wind chills in the single
  digits at night and in the teens during the day.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
