...A Deepening Storm System to bring Strong Winds to the Area
late this Weekend...

A strengthening storm system over the Plains will move into the
Upper Great lakes on Saturday Night, and remain north of the area
through Sunday. A cold front associated with this system will
move through the region Saturday Night, with strong west winds
developing behind it Sunday morning. Winds will gradually subside
Sunday Night into Monday.

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING...Saturday night through Sunday night

* WINDS...West 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Watch means there is potential for damaging winds to
develop. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph...or gusts of 58 mph
or stronger may occur. Begin preparation to secure property if
necessary and monitor the forecast for possible high wind
warnings.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Ohio and
northwest Ohio.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Thunderstorms are possible across the area Saturday night. An
isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out with large hail and
damaging winds. Strong winds on Sunday and Sunday Night may result in
tree damage and power outages.
