...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following
  counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the
  following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware,
  Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking,
  Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby
  and Union.

* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and
    continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the
    extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash
    flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur
or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas and be
careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

Ohio and west central Ohio.

Showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight may produce
heavy rainfall. Floooding is possible, especially where storms may
end up being more persistent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
