This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast Ohio.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Light snow or a rain snow mix is possible today. Slick travel will be

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A strong storm system will affect the area Saturday through Sunday.
Precipitation may start out as a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and
freezing rain Saturday morning, before transitioning to heavy rain by
Saturday afternoon. Some areas may not completely transition to all
rain and may remain a wintry mix Saturday. Slick travel is possible
Saturday, with localized flooding a possibility as rain develops.

Snow will develop area wide by Saturday night/early Sunday.
Significant snowfall accumulations will be possible.

In addition, very cold air will infiltrate the area by Sunday into
Sunday night. This combined with gusty winds may necessitate the need
for wind chill headlines.

Winter weather and/or water related headlines may be possible.


Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
 conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
