This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Indiana, northeast
Kentucky, northern Kentucky, south central Ohio and southwest Ohio.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated storms may develop late afternoon into early evening. A
strong to severe storm or two will be possible, with damaging winds
and large hail being the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A few strong to severe storms will be possible Wednesday afternoon
and evening. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Wednesday.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...

  Ohio River at Portsmouth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Portsmouth.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 50.0 feet, Lowland flooding affects southern Scioto
  County.  Backwater flooding occurs into the Scioto River, as well
  as along smaller creeks flowing into the Ohio River.  Flood waters
  expand across route 73, as well as State Route 239. Much of
  Portsmouth itself is protected by flood walls.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 50.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 50.5
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
