40 mph will be common with isolated gusts over 40 mph possible.

.Fire Weather...
Elevated fire weather conditions may briefly occur Thursday
through Sunday afternoons due to gusty winds.

.Thunderstorms...
There is a low chance for thunderstorms Friday night across
southeast Oklahoma. A few of these storms could become severe with
large hail as the severe hazard.

THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, northern,
  northwest, southeast, southern and southwest Oklahoma.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 7 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
  Driving on roadways with an east to west alignment may be
  difficult due to a crosswind.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
