Texas.

.Thunderstorms...
Thunderstorms will likely redevelop across portions of western and
southwestern Oklahoma later this afternoon, and then move into
north Texas this evening. A few severe thunderstorms will be
possible, with hail up to the size of quarters and wind gusts
up to 60 mph. Localized heavy rainfall may also result in minor
flooding.

.Heat...
Heat index will range up to 108 across south central and
southeastern Oklahoma through the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

.Thunderstorms...
Chances for thunderstorms return to parts of northern Oklahoma late
Friday.

AT 727 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 4 miles south of
Sterling. This storm was nearly stationary.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southeastern Grady County in central Oklahoma...
  Northwestern Garvin County in southern Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Stephens County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 638 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain
  have fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lindsay, Erin Springs and Cox City.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding. Most of the flooding
is expected to be south of the Washita River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
