This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Far northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...After 9 PM.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening near
and north of a corridor from Vinita Oklahoma to Fayetteville Arkansas.
A few of these storms could become severe as they expand in coverage
and spread east and southeastward through the overnight hours.
Large hail and localized strong winds will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY through SUNDAY...Severe Thunderstorm and Heavy Rain Potential.
MONDAY and TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to develop by mid to late Thursday morning
across portions of eastern Oklahoma with highest chances along and south
of Interstate 40. These storms will likely increase in coverage and intensity
through the afternoon as they spread south and eastward. A few severe storms
are possible primarily across southeast Oklahoma through Thursday afternoon.
The weather pattern will become increasingly unsettled Friday through the
weekend. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are forecast Friday night with
locally heavy rainfall possible primarily across northeast Oklahoma into
far northwest Arkansas. Saturday and Sunday will have increasing potential
for severe weather with a cold front passing late Sunday. Thunderstorm
chances begin to decrease early next week.
