The highest potential will be during the afternoon hours, and mainly west of Highway 75. Otherwise, hazardous weather is not anticipated. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. THURSDAY...Very High Fire Weather Potential...High Wind Potential. FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Very High Fire Weather Potential...High Wind Potential. SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Very High Fire Weather Potential...High Wind Potential. SUNDAY TO TUESDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Strong gusty winds will develop Thursday with wind gusts of 30-45 mph expected. Due to the continued mild and dry conditions, these strong winds will result in very high fire weather potential. These conditions will persist into Friday, but wind speeds will diminish somewhat. A cold front will approach the area Friday evening into Saturday morning. A few strong to severe storms may develop ahead of this front, especially for southeast OK and northwest AR.
