This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected through tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Winter Weather Potential.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
There is a low potential for light freezing drizzle to develop
across portions of northwest Arkansas Sunday morning. However,
any ice amounts from this activity will remain light. Rain will
overspread the area Monday into Tuesday, with the possibility of
some mixed wintry precipitation near the Kansas and Missouri
borders at times. Only limited impacts are expected from minor
snow or sleet accumulations in these areas.

By late Tuesday into Wednesday, even colder air will move south
into the area, bringing a greater potential for a mixture of
freezing rain, sleet, and snow. While this does not currently
appear to be a major winter storm, some winter weather impacts
will be likely, especially during the day Wednesday. Continue to
monitor latest forecasts as winter weather details for next week
are refined.
