This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Primarily northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Mid morning and again after midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms may spread into portions of northeast
Oklahoma by mid morning.  Higher chances will remain near and
north of the Oklahoma Kansas border.  Severe weather is not
expected with these storms.
Additional storms will develop across the High Plains this
evening and spread eastward overnight. Thunderstorm chances
will increase after midnight across northeast Oklahoma
and eventually into far northwest Arkansas. A few strong to
marginally severe storms will be possible overnight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY through Thursday...Thunderstorm and Locally Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily thunderstorm chances are expected this weekend and
continuing through much of next week. The weather pattern will
support locally heavy rainfall amounts through next week
which may eventually raise flooding concerns. The potential
for severe weather may develop at times over the next week,
however widespread severe weather appears unlikely.
