This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Southeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...After 7 PM.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorm potential will increase this evening and overnight
across southeast Oklahoma. There is a limited risk of a strong to
severe storm, with hail the primary threat.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY thru SATURDAY...Thunderstorm...High Wind Potential.
SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
MONDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
At least isolated thunderstorm activity is likely to be ongoing
into Wednesday morning across southeast Oklahoma, but the severe
threat will have diminished. There is a low chance for more
thunderstorm development Wednesday night into Thursday, but the
better chances will be north of the Kansas and Missouri borders.

An upper wave moving into the Plains this weekend will bring the
potential for storms and severe weather. The highest potential for
severe weather will be Saturday night along and ahead of a
progressing cold front.

Ahead of the Thursday system, southerly winds will increase,
leading to a window for localized fire weather concerns during the
afternoon if lower relative humidities should persist.
