DISCUSSION...
Patchy fog will remain possible this morning across much of
northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, especially in areas
that received the most rainfall Friday. Fog may become locally
dense, with visibilities down to a half mile or less, but
widespread dense fog is unlikely.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this
afternoon, particularly in eastern Oklahoma. Precipitation will
tend to decrease during the evening hours. Then, late overnight
tonight, additional showers and thunderstorms are forecast to
approach the area from the west. This activity will continue to
impact the area into Sunday morning. Severe weather is unlikely,
but some small hail or gusty winds will be possible with the
strongest storms.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
TUESDAY...Severe Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm...High Wind...and Heavy Rain Potential.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Several rounds of thunderstorms, including severe weather
potential, are forecast over the coming days. Depending on how
convection Sunday morning evolves, severe thunderstorms will be
possible during the afternoon and evening hours across eastern
Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas. All severe hazards appear
possible, including large hail, damaging winds, and a low tornado
potential. Another round of storms and severe weather potential
is possible Monday.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, an upper level storm system will move
through the region, providing increased severe weather potential
areawide, with all hazards possible. Storms are expected to be
more widespread and confidence in severe weather is higher on
Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional chances for thunderstorms
persist through the end of the week, but severe weather chances
are less certain Thursday and Friday. Additionally, heavy
rainfall and repeated rounds of storms may lead to instances of
flash flooding across the region over the next several days.
Overall, please continue to monitor the forecast as high-end
severe weather remains possible this week as the active spring
weather pattern takes shape.
