ONSET...After Midnight. DISCUSSION... Some light showers or sprinkles will remain over the area through the afternoon. Skies could clear enough by tonight across northern portions of the forecast area for some patchy fog to develop in the more sheltered valley locations. Coverage is expected to be minimal overall but a few areas of fog will be possible after midnight. A few showers and isolated thunder could occur again late tonight across far southeast Oklahoma, near the Red River. Severe weather is not expected. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. MONDAY...No Hazards. TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. These conditions will be short-lived, as a warmer and more humid air mass spreads back into region Tuesday, and remains through the end of the week. This moist and unstable air mass will support thunderstorm chances each day, especially later in the week with the approach of a weak cold front. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, no flooding occurs but all recreational
floating along the Illinois River ceases due to strong turbulence.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.4
feet early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from the Arkansas
border to near Fidler`s Bend. Extreme turbulence makes the river
unsafe for floating.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 13.1 feet just
after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight.
