much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds return this afternoon along with warmer
temperatures across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. No
hazardous weather is expected through tonight.

TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...High Wind Potential...Dangerous Wind Chill Potential.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Dangerous Wind Chill Potential.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Increasing southerly winds and the warmest temperatures of the
week are expected Tuesday ahead of a strong cold front forecast to
move through the region Tuesday night and Wednesday. Behind the
frontal passage, gusty northerly winds transporting colder and
drier air will spread across the region Wednesday and Wednesday
night with wind chill values early Thursday morning in the range
of near 5 degrees below zero to around 10 degrees above zero. The
cold conditions are forecast to continue into Friday with wind
chill values Friday morning around zero degrees to lower teens
across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A warming trend
looks to return for the weekend.
