much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...

The potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist into
Tonight as a storm system moves out of southeast Oklahoma into Texas.
A few storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds the main
concern. Locally heavy rains will be possible.

THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and storms will continue to be possible across extreme
southeast Oklahoma Thursday morning. Dry weather is generally is expected
on Friday before more unsettled weather returns for the weekend into early
next week. A cold front is forecast to stall across the region Saturday into
Sunday with the boundary serving as a focus for several rounds of showers
and storms. Heavy rainfall will be possible during this time.
