...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT MONDAY
ABOVE 2500 FEET...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
5 AM PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning above 2500 feet, heavy
  snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 12 inches. For the
  Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations of up to 9 inches.

* WHERE...For the Winter Storm Warning, Eastern Jackson County,
  including Butte Falls and Prospect. Highways 62 north of
  Prospect, 140 near the Cascades foothills, and 227 north of
  Trail. For the Winter Weather Advisory, Talent, Ashland, Shady
  Cove, and portions of I-5.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 11 AM PDT Monday.
  For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 5
  AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...For areas under the Winter Weather Advisory, travel
  could be impacted from reduced visibility while snow falls and
  wet roads. The main impact will be accumulating snow off
  roadways, except dirt roads could see minor accumulations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Winter Weather Advisory concerns
  accumulating snow off roadways because road surface temperatures
  will be above freezing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Travel is strongly discouraged because of dangerous conditions.

* If you must travel, keep tire chains, a flashlight, blankets,
  food, water, medications, and a fully charged phone with you.

* The safest place during a winter storm is indoors.

* A Winter Storm Warning means that severe winter weather is
  imminent and poses a threat to life and property. Take
  protective action now.
