...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM PST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Oregon, including the following
counties, Clatsop, Tillamook and Yamhill.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 951 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the
advisory area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Seaside, Sheridan, Cannon Beach, Garibaldi, Manzanita,
Pacific City, Jewell, Tillamook, Rockaway Beach, Trask, Lees
Camp, Cape Meares, Netarts, Oceanside, Elsie, Cape Lookout,
Cloverdale, Neskowin, Willamina and Gearhart.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Impacts are more likely where the highest wind gusts occur. High confidence in at least isolated to scattered wind related impacts, however the exact locations are uncertain.
