Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Mohawk River near Springfield.

* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Above 15.0 feet, expect flooding of low areas and some
  rural roads near the river.
  Above 18.0 feet, expect extensive flooding of farmland and local
  roads from Marcola down to the confluence with the McKenzie River.
  Also expect numerous road closures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 17.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:45 PM PDT Sunday was 17.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is forecast to fall below flood stage of
    15 feet Monday morning and continue falling to below bankfull
    stage of 12.5 feet by late MOnday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  - At 4:00 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 18.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:00 PM PDT Sunday was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    later this evening and continue falling to below bankfull
    stage of 15 feet by Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Eugene/Springfield Metro Area in Lane County.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 332 PM PDT, Doppler radar showed heavy rain over the area.
    Trained weather spotters have reported localized flooding
    along Amazon Creek, as well as additional ponding of water on
    roads and sidewalks.
  - Areas near and along Amazon Creek are the most likely places
    to experience minor flooding.
  - Some locations that could experience urban and small stream
    flooding include...
    Eugene, Springfield, River Road, Santa Clara and North
    Springfield.

flooding throughout the southern Willamette Valley. Flooding is
generally impacting smaller streams and rivers at this time. Rain
will slow, and then increase again as another system arrives
overnight.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Oregon, including the following
  county, Lane.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
  crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect
  many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 135 PM PDT, The public reported heavy rain in the warned
    area. Flooding is already occurring.
  - This Areal Flood Warning includes the following streams and
    drainages...Willamette River, Camas Swale Creek, Middle Fork
    Willamette River, Hill Creek, Gettings Creek, Bear Creek,
    Coast Fork Willamette River, South Fork Gettings Creek, North
    Fork Gettings Creek, Oxley Slough and Papenfus Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inch are possible
    in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Creswell, Goshen, Walker and Saginaw.

    in the warned area.
