northern West Virginia.

Low relative humidities of 20 to 30 percent and gusty winds up to 20
to 30 mph are supportive of fire spread concerns today. Please
exercise caution or avoid burning outdoors.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Low humidity and afternoon wind gusts will support marginal fire
weather conditions Wednesday and Thursday.

...ELEVATED RISK OF FIRE SPREAD THIS AFTERNOON...

A combination of dry and windy conditions this afternoon will
create an elevated risk of wildfire spread along and south of I-80.
Minimum relative humidity values will range from 20 to 30 percent
accompanied by wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph.

Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential
ignition sources, such as machinery, cigarettes, or matches. Hold
on to your cigarette butts! If dry grasses and tree litter begin
to burn, the fire will have the potential to spread rapidly.
