Special Weather Statement National Weather Service State College PA 528 PM EST Thu Feb 13 2025 PAZ017-018-024-025-033-034-140500- Clearfield-Northern Centre-Cambria-Blair-Somerset-Bedford- 528 PM EST Thu Feb 13 2025 ...SNOW SHOWERS CAUSING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL THROUGH THIS EVENING... Frequent snow showers will bring an additional inch or two of snow accumulation this evening as cold, moist air pushes into the region and is lifted over the Allegheny Mountains of Western PA. Some of the snow showers could reduce the visibility to between one-quarter and one half of a mile at times. Snow covered and slick roads conditions will occur from the combination of falling snow and air temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees this evening. The snow showers will become more scattered later tonight. Postpone your trip if possible or use extra caution if you plan to drive across the higher terrain on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Interstate 80, or Routes 22 and 30. Allow plenty of stopping distance between you and the vehicle ahead. Avoid braking suddenly. $$ Lambert/Beaty/Dangelo
