...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
  counties, Lycoming and Sullivan.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
  flood-prone locations is occurring. Low-water crossings are
  inundated with water and may not be passable. Local fire and law
  enforcement personnel reported water rescues in Glen Mawr and the
  entire town being evacuated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 318 AM EDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding of
    Muncy Creek and areas along Route 220 from near Nordmont,
    downstream to Picture Rocks. Multiple major mudslides along
    route 220 from Glen Mawr to the Sullivan County Line. Between
    4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen from training
    thunderstorms late Sunday evening.
  - Significant flooding impacts will continue, but no additional
    rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Muncy Valley and Picture Rocks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

possible overnight, especially across the region east of Williamsport
and across Sullivan County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms with very heavy rain are possible. The heavy rain may
lead to minor flooding Thursday and Friday.
