This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Sunny skies will push heat indices into the low 90s across the region
today, especially in valleys and urban areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

The combination of heat and humidity can lead to heat indices
reaching the low 90s Wednesday and Thursday, especially in valley
locations and urban areas. There will also be the potential for
additional showers and thunderstorms bringing heavy rainfall with
localized flash flooding Wednesday into Thursday.

Areas of dense fog have formed across the Southern Tier and
Northeast PA this morning with visibilities reduced to one half
mile or less, especially in river valleys. Fog is expected to
stick around through the morning rush, clearing out by 9am.

Early morning commuters should be prepared for rapidly changing
conditions, including locally poor visibilities. Please allow
sufficient distance between yourself and the vehicle in front of
you, and if needed, allow yourself extra time to reach your
destination.
