This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Delaware, northern
Delaware, southern Delaware, northeast Maryland, central New
Jersey, northern New Jersey, northwest New Jersey, southern New
Jersey, east central Pennsylvania, northeast Pennsylvania and
southeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon through
Sunday. Heavy rainfall will accompany some of these, which could
lead to local flooding especially in urban areas and on some smaller
streams.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IS IN EFFECT FOR FRIDAY MAY 25...

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission has issued
a code orange air quality alert Friday for The Philadelphia
Metro area.

A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people
suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung
diseases...and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can
be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
