This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions of
the interior, east, and western Puerto Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) are expected
across the Caribbean and Atlantic waters and coastal areas.

.Waves...Choppy seas up to 6 feet expected across the
exposed areas of the local waters.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
the beaches of northern, eastern and southeastern Puerto Rico, as
well as for Vieques and Culebra.

.Heat...Southeasterly trade winds and high humidities will result in
above normal heat indices of 102 to 107 degrees for portions of the
north central, southern and western coast of Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Wednesday through Monday

The moderate rip current risk will prevail for the next several days.
Heat indices above 102 degrees are expected through the weekend,
mainly for northern Puerto Rico. There is a risk of urban and small
stream flooding each afternoon across the interior and west sections.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
