The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds through the day across most of the

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) are expected
across the Atlantic and Caribbean waters.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
the northern coast of Puerto Rico and Culebra.

.Heat...Heat indices up to 106 degrees are expected over the urban
areas and lower elevations of Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Tuesday through Sunday

A tropical wave and a mid-to-upper level trough will bring additional
showers and thunderstorms from late Tuesday into Wednesday, increasing
the potential for urban and small stream flooding. Choppy seas are
expected from the middle to the end of the workweek. A moderate rip
current risk will continue for the next several days.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
