Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees mainly across some of the northwest and north central coastal areas. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure. .Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) are expected mainly across the north coastal sections of Puerto Rico during the afternoon hours. Unsecured items could blow around. .Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for most of the local beaches. Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday A moderate rip current risk will persist for most beaches during the next several days. Heat indices above 102 degrees are expected each afternoon, especially along the northern municipalities of Puerto Rico.
