This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds today across portions of the interior,
western and eastern Puerto Rico, including the San Juan metro area.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream flooding
as well as ponding of water on roadways and in poor drainage areas.

.Wind...Sustained winds up to 22 knots (25 mph) are expected across
the local waters and along the coastal areas.

.Waves...Choppy wind driven seas up to 7 feet expected across
The Atlantic and Caribbean waters as well as local passages.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
most of the local beaches, except western Puerto Rico.

.Heat...Southeasterly trade winds will result in above normal
temperature with heat indices up to 107 degrees possible in some
areas along the north coastal areas.


.Days Two through Seven...Friday through Wednesday

A moderate rip current risk will continue for the next several days
for most beaches. Heat indices are expected to be above 102 degrees
through Friday. There is a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms
each day across the interior and western Puerto Rico.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
