This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas, particularly across east-northeast PR during the
morning hours and west-northwest PR during the afternoon. There
is a low chance of localized urban and small streams flooding.

.Wind...Breezy conditions (18-22 kts | 21-25 mph), particularly
across the waters and localized coastal areas. Unsecured items
could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution,
particularly across the Atlantic Waters and the Mona Passage.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone, particularly across the north oriented beaches of
Puerto Rico and Culebra. These life- threatening conditions are
possible across the aforementioned areas, with isolated stronger
rip currents possible elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties
and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The large swell that impacted the local waters over the past few
days should have subsided by Sunday. A high pressure ridge will
build over the local area later today increasing the winds across
the local waters and coastal areas. An unstable weather pattern
will evolve this weekend, increasing the potential for flooding
rains, although a drying trend will begin on Sunday. A surface
high pressure will move into the central Atlantic by early next
week, promoting stable and drier conditions. Moisture and
instability once again increase by Friday.
