This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms, particularly across
western Puerto Rico. Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter
if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes, particularly across western Puerto Rico.
There is a low chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan
for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained areas.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These
conditions are most likely across all coastal areas of Puerto Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

An elevated excessive heat threat will return from Tuesday through
Friday across most lower elevations of PR. Isolated thunderstorms
are expected each afternoon over portions of the interior and
western PR. Breezy conditions and a moderate risk of rip currents
will prevail through the workweek. A tropical wave is expected to
increase shower and thunderstorm activity by midweek. A dense
Saharan Air Layer will return on Thursday, promoting hazy skies
and reduced visibilities through the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
