The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions of
the interior and northwestern Puerto Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding across northwestern Puerto Rico.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) are expected
across the nearshore Atlantic waters.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
the northern coast of Puerto Rico and eastern Culebra.

.Days Two through Seven...Sunday through Friday

There will be a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms each
afternoon across western Puerto Rico. A moderate rip current risk will
continue for the northern half of the Island through Wednesday,
spreading toward the southern and eastern coast on Thursday.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
