This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia and upstate
South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move east of the mountains
this afternoon and early this evening ahead of a strong cold front. A
few of the storms may be strong to severe, with damaging wind gusts
the primary threat. Any of the storms will contain cloud-to-ground
lightning, small hail, and brief heavy downpours. The storms should
move away to the east by mid-evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.


Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information about
observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state,
and CDC guidelines.
