Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Though rainfall has ended in the downtown area, City of Charleston Emergency Management reports that numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. An additional round of thunderstorms is expected this evening which will likely bring more heavy rainfall to the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Charleston, Downtown Charleston, Daniel Island, West Ashley, Charleston Naval Complex, The Citadel, Columbus Street Terminal, Medical University Of South Carolina, Marion Square and Cooper River Marina.
