MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Moderate Risk for Rip Currents.

produce minor coastal flooding across coastal areas of Charleston and
Colleton Counties. A Coastal Flood Advisory may be needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk for rip currents at the beaches
Saturday. Gusty northeast winds and favorable swell will lead to an
enhanced risk for rip currents along South Carolina beaches through
early next week.

High Surf: High surf with breaking waves 5 ft or great could occur
along the South Carolina beaches Sunday into Monday. A High Surf
Advisory may be needed. In additional, significant beach erosion

this weekend. The threat of coastal flooding will then increase
through next week due to increasing astronomical influences. Coastal
Flood Advisories, Watches and/or Warnings may be needed.
