...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the
  following county, Horry.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 718 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    North Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Little River,
    Cherry Grove Inlet, Little River Entrance, Wampee, Barefoot
    Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, Briarcliffe Acres,
    Atlantic Beach and Sea Coast Medical Center.
  - This includes the following highways...
    SC Highway 31 between mile markers 16 and 24.
    SC Highway 22 near mile marker 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the
  following county, Horry.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 709 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain in the Fantasy
    Harbour area and near downtown Myrtle Beach due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already
    caused minor flooding in these areas. Between 1.5 and 2.5
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but only light rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach Airport, Springmaid Pier, Socastee
    and Forestbrook.
  - This includes SC Highway 31 between mile markers 5 and 11.
