Scattered thunderstorms will occur in two rounds, one today and the other late tonight. Cloud-to-ground lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be possible with any of these thunderstorms. A few of the storms may become severe, producing large hail greater than 1 inch in diameter, as well as damaging wind gusts. A tornado cannot be completely ruled out, especially with the second round of storms tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
