Scattered thunderstorms will occur later tonight. Cloud-to-ground lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be possible with any of these thunderstorms. A few of the storms may become severe, producing large hail greater than 1 inch in diameter, as well as damaging wind gusts. At 1137 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Anderson, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
