This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, western
North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will affect the
region mainly this evening, with the greatest coverage across the
mountains and foothills. Any of these thunderstorms may produce gusty
winds, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, and locally
heavy rainfall. A few may produce damaging wind gusts. The thunderstorms
may linger through the nighttime hours across areas along and to the
south of Interstate 85.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
