This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Patchy freezing drizzle, flurries, and fog are possible this morning
and may lead to slippery spots on area roads.

Light snow accumulations are expected this afternoon through tonight
and are forecast to remain under one inch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

  Missouri River At Springfield
  James River At Huron
  James River Near Forestburg
  James River At Mitchell

.The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through
tonight. Any additional future rains could affect the crest


Safety message...Do not drive cars through flooded areas. the water
depth and road condition may be unsafe.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.00 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to slowly fall.
* At stages near 11.0 feet...Significant amounts of rural areas will
experience flooding.
