This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog will continue through mid morning, generally in
areas east of the James River, including parts southwest
Minnesota and northwest Iowa. Visibilities could drop as low as a
quarter mile or less at times.

Flooding resulting from heavy rainfall over the past days will
continue to be an ongoing concern. Moderate to record river
flooding is expected to continue in the James, Vermillion and Big
Sioux Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.


Spotter activation is unlikely at this time.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The James River At Huron.
* until further notice.
* At 09AM Sunday the stage was 13.90 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.00 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 14.3 feet by Thursday
  September 19 then begin falling.
* At stages near 14.0 feet...Numerous county and township roads in
Beadle County will be flooded.
