...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South

  James River At Huron
  James River Near Forestburg
  James River At Mitchell

.The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through
tonight. Any additional future rains could affect the crest


Safety message...Do not drive cars through flooded areas. the water
depth and road condition may be unsafe.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The James River At Huron.
* until further notice.
* At 09AM Thursday the stage was 11.58 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.00 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 12.9 feet by Saturday July 11
  then begin falling.
* At stages near 14.0 feet...numerous county and township roads in
Beadle County will be flooded.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Friday
afternoon into the overnight hours. These storms may produce large
hail, damaging wind gusts, and isolated tornadoes.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
