This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Snow continues to taper off from north to south through tonight,
lingering longest toward the US Highway 20 corridor. Most additional
accumulations will be an inch or less, but some isolated totals are
possible. Minor travel impacts are expected through the overnight;
drive to conditions.

Arctic air combined with a fresh snowpack will lead to dangerous
wind chill values between -20 to -30 degrees heading into Tuesday
morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Additional light snow chances arrive Wednesday and again Friday
night, though are anticipated to remain focused mostly across areas
south of Highway 20 and east of I-29.

Colder temperatures continue to promote dangerous wind chills from
the latter parts of the week into the weekend.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 32 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa, southwest Minnesota, and east
  central and southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
