...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM CDT FRIDAY...
...WIND ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa, southwest Minnesota, and
  southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 7 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds have weakened enough this evening to
  allow the first Wind Advisory to expire at 9 PM CDT Thursday.
  However, gusts to 45 mph will continue tonight. Winds are expected
  to increase again through the overnight, with a new Wind Advisory
  beginning at 1 AM CDT Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Westerly wind gusts 45 to 55 mph continue through this evening.
Locally stronger gusts are possible, mainly north of I-90 and into
south central South Dakota late evening and tonight.

Strong westerly wind gusts to 50 mph continue through the overnight
hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Periods of strong westerly winds persist Friday with occasional
gusts up to 50 mph.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
