This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorm chances this morning will largely be focused over
portions of southwest Minnesota. There is a small chance at an
additional storm or two this evening and overnight although
widespread thunderstorms are not expected. While the risk appears
low, an isolated thunderstorm may be strong to severe with hail to
around the size of half dollars and wind gusts to 60 mph.

Heat indices will rise into the 90s for much of southeast South
Dakota and northwest Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances continue through at least Friday night.
At this time, the most likely period for potential severe
thunderstorms appears to be focused in the Friday afternoon and
evening timeframe.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
