This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, east
central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Periods of light snow will continue through this evening, perhaps
mixed with freezing drizzle at times. Total accumulations of 2 to 5
inches are expected in most locations by late this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a chance of additional light snow thru Saturday, followed by
increasing northerly winds which could produce patchy blowing and
drifting snow into Sunday.

The active pattern continues into early next week with additional
snow chances Monday through Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow, with periods of mixed precipitation. Additional
  snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a
  light glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central and
  southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
