...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner and
  Trousdale.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1147 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Gallatin, Springfield, Ashland City, Hartsville, Madison,
    Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville,
    Greenbrier, Coopertown, Lakewood, Westmoreland, Ridgetop,
    Cross Plains, Portland, Old Hickory, Joelton, Pleasant View
    and Orlinda.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland,
  Davidson, De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Grundy, Hickman, Houston,
  Humphreys, Jackson, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery,
  Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith,
  Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, White, Williamson
  and Wilson.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall can be expected today and
    continuing through tonight. This will lead to instances of
    flash flooding across the area
