This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The snow showers and flurries will come to an end this morning,
with some light additional accumulations early over the higher
elevations of southwest Virginia and the mountains of east

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Another chance for snowfall will occur late Thursday night
through Friday night. The higher terrain across Southwest Virginia
and East Tennessee could pick up another 1 to 4 inches of snow
with locally higher amounts in the highest reaches of the Smokies.
The Cumberland Plateau and parts of the Tennessee Valley may see
a dusting up to 1 inch.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
